    thanks everybody…..this took quite awhile with ink washes, charcoal mixed with gesso, then acrylic, then ink, then pencil, etc……

    I’m really starting to warm to the concept of mixed media and this is a wonderful example of it. I too think it is reminiscent of The Scream, but with an extra something that is purely yours. As I will be 58 in March, I can empathise with this guy in the painting. Time travels very fast and speeds up as you get older, so we mustn’t waste any of it.
