Portrait of a People symbolized by one person. Technology versus Ecology; a statement on the return to the old ways as our climate and world changes for the worse. Our ancestors were always eco-minded or “green” as they say now. Here, today, our People must prepare for the unimaginable. I somewhat altered my application by painting the background impasto and the foreground smooth and detailed as opposed to the normal technique.
hi arn i enjoy your native am style very much when i lived in calif i used to go to a all native am gallery and met many of the big names of the time in the late sevenites some were very nice people if i remember it was called gallery capistrano the lady who owned it went all over the south west and met arts to show in her gallery i met pena and r c gorman and several others who art i could never afford i some times do your style for my self just to have it i am poor now in my older age so i cant afford all the art i would like three years ago while studying the membres i fell in love with their pots and did some plates for my self and some where i used a black and while design and made it my own with many colors i took a month once and went to all the four corners and visited all the ruins chaco canyon made me cry with respect of all the work that went into the building of it i took many photos of petrogliths too i also have painted many painting of the great leaders too joseph was my favorite of all hope you are having good luck with selling your art i sold a few art pieces the last weeks
Truly an awesome piece! Love the contrast of the smooth green blanket against the intricate beadwork on the shoes, the gas mask against the bone necklace and the forefront which appears rather serene against the rough textures of the background. Also the brights surrounded, nearly, by shadows & gloom. An instant favorite. Thank you. Peace,Sass

yes we seem to be headed to hell on earth well done and said in paint
I hope not…we just have to smarten up and all do some little thing like “turn off the lights” or use the same plastic bags, etc……
