The tears that fall,so cold and bleak.
Are the tears of sorrow for those that fall.
For those that fear and those that cower.
For those that won’t look forward,to a better tomorrow.
Oh sad are they,that can’t stand straight.
For those who can’t see,there’s no future in all this hate.
She sees the sadness.The lack of hope.

The tears that trickle from her eyes.
Are the tears of laughter,that happiness brings.
To dance in the rain,to play in the snow.
To lie in the sun and watch her children grow.
To take on one arm a parent grown old,in the other a child enfold.

No matter your colour,your creed.
To love one another is all we need.
She sees what can be, if only we will trust.

The tears that shine upon her cheeks.
Are the tears of joy,for those who seek.
For those,that are brave.
For those,that are bold.
Who face their fears,as they unfold.
To leave the darkest caves of doubt.
Who fight the wars,not with fist or gun.
But with love and understanding.
She speaks of peace.
Peace ,that is everlasting.
