Mother Nature is my muse, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to capture her beauty on paper or canvas.
I like to experiment with media and subject matter, and am always creating, wherever I am.
Thanks Junior :)

This has a really fine tapestry feel to it. Beautifully handled subject matter.
Thanks so much, it was a design copied from a friends Kimono so I’m glad it has a textile nature to it!
i love this work, so beautiful!
Thank you so much Genevieve, appreciate the comments!
Thanks! Its actually a very small painting, not much larger than a postcard!
Beautiful design…it reminds me of those chinese cut outs with superb camelias
Thank you Rachel! I LOVE those chinese cut-outs, somewhere buried in the junk in my house I have a lovely collection that I gathered back in the 1980’s……..I’d forgotten them until you mentioned them, I’ll have to dig them out …so THANK YOU!!
I can image this on pure silk…elaborate and beautiful :) ~ Anni
This was copied from part of a friends silk kimono, so that comment is incredibly insightful! Thank you Anni!!
Very nicely done, I had some wall paper like that, I might even have a small piece left somewhere.
It would look lovely as wall paper!
JUST LOVE THIS.. The title fit perfectly..would look stunning as kimono
Thanks so much Nira! This was actually loosely based on the pattern of a friend’s kimono!
The patience and attention to detail astounds me. I love this because I love Art Nouveau and those curves and organic shapes are beautiful. This looks like watercolour in parts (the green and blue leaves) – you are very clever.
Thank you very much Julie-Ann, I loved the pattern so much I had to attempt to re-create it.
Wow! That’s wonderful Alexandra. Would make a fantastic fabric print. :)
