This is a really nice composition Alexandra. That strip of blue at the top is perfect to balance the scene. Fun to see a limited palette like this. . .congrats.
Like the colors and composition in this one, Alexandra. Nice job!
Thanks Kathy, glad you like it :)

Beautiful ..
Thanks….when I first finished this I wasn’t all that happy with it (it is of the sheep paddock on my parents property) but it has now been hanging on my bedroom wall for a couple of months and I love it.

You are sooooo prolific, how do you do it, Alex? Brilliant stuff girl :)
Its funny, I don’t really know why I am so prolific! I sort get times where I paint obsessively to the detriment of everything else in my life….working full-time doesn’t help either! I think it is inherited, my grandfather was a highly successful artist and also intensely prolific!
Pleased you enjoy my work! I will be back to my landscape painting soon I hope, the weather has been terrible here, and as I paint outside (thats where I have room for painting) the paint dries on the brush in this heat! Cool change next week I hope!

Yep, so do I, I have flies in my paint, it adds to the atmosphere :)
This is lovely, I do love your work. We would love to have you join our group. Why not come over and join the Painting the Country Life Group
Please add the size and medium you used to your description
Thanks so much for the kind comment and the invitation Barbara. I don’t really do a lot of landscape painting much these days, so probably won’t join, but I do very much appreciate the invitation.
