Yes, I love these hills and have always meant to paint them – maybe when less hot! Did you really brave the heat & flies, or was this done from a photograph? Like the rhythmic simplicity in this one.

I love these terrraces. I’ve been taking photos of them every time I’ve been down that way lately. You’ve given me an idea now of how to ‘treat’ them. You’ve really caught the essence of this landscape.

Might have a go at it tonight. Although I do have to design exhibition invitations tonight!

thanks alex-yes my late wife loved my plates god bless her now gone 5 years- sad as she was younger then me by 8 years-she was suposed to bury me—i was lucky i had her 38 years i took, care of her 7 years while she was ill from dr,s boo- boo-but i am sure – you know life is not fair-still we have good times too while waitng for our/ day-again i love this art piece- the colors are strinking-

yes we do have much to deal with is we live long enough-if your not a kd- then i know you too- have had a broken heart too-from comings and goings in our lifes- you know- also- people come in our lifes and go-adding to it- or worst- hurting our sense of fairness- and we learn to read better-others—my art has been my anchor— i have no delusions of it being special-only a way to create some thing to leave my loved ones-and haha- yard sales for the next hundred years- if? this world lasts that long- i fine artists to be a sensitive lot-and maybe too feeling but we are what weare-your work shows your sensitivity to the world around you and the one inside you too time for bed good night if youve got a love- hug them- cus when they go- it is lonely—
