    Thanks for the vote of confidence Dave, sometimes I wonder if people just think “oh god, not ANOTHER flower painting!” But I suspect I would continue them nonetheless. This is a series of which I have about 8 more to do, quite small, about 20cm x 20cm each painting, so I can paint them even while sitting on the sofa watching TV…..LOL, I’m so lazy!! But I’m loving them, and am often surprised how they come out differently from what I expected…....does your art ever surprise you like that? Take on a life of its own?

    Thanks Marilyn. I am highly influenced by both Japanese and Chinese art, so I guess it comes out in things even when it isn’t deliberate ;)
