Anni, you have no idea!! She is an old cat now, but still can turn a supercilious gaze upon you!!

This is a most interesting work. Quite fond of print technique, and this seems to push lino-cut beyond what I know of it.

Thanks Jeffrey. I must admit to being in love with the reduction method, although there is definitely a lot more room for irreversible mistakes! I only wish I could do more of it now, but with no Press of my own, it is impossible, so I’m sticking with painting until I can afford a press, and studio to house it!!

Thank you Lee! I have found it very hard trying to sketch animals, they are in constant motion as soo as you reach for a pencil!! I have taken the easy option lately and work from photographs!! Can’t awit to see your cat!

This is such a delightful, totally gorgeous print! Absolutely love the way you’ve used this technique in a way that, to me, renders it unique. I’m reminded of Matisse but with more subdued colours, and a much more homely quality. I simply love it!
