Artist's Description

Acrylic on Canvas( 6f x 4ft), ( 1,83m x 1m21m)- Original and unique piece..

I really enjoy playing around with colors to convey a message. On this one the colors I used Red, Yellow ,Green. and Black) are usually associated with Africa and people from the African Diaspora
The 4 women featured on the painting represent Africans and/or members of the African Diaspora.
The 3 women on the right although attractive, are insecure, selfish,, divided, jealous and confrontational. The three are the present. They are quite are appalled and confused by the curvaceous woman on the left wearing all their colors together, looking quite beautiful and sure of herself. She represents our future :dignity, unity, serenity and abundance
“Africa, Present and Future” is the first from a series of two large paintings . The series is called" A Journey to Unity"
