I watched the Avatar Movie very late – everybody had seen it and I still had not made my way to the movies…..
Three weeks ago I did it and I was deeply impressed!
I have done this portrait of Neytiri in ArtRage, with a desktop wallpaper as reference. I used some PSE- brushes in ArtRage to paint it, and added a canvas texture from Artsuite.

I confess, I am a bit proud of this.
I am learning more and more while playing with ArtRage, and I love, love, love this programme! Did this portrait with only three layers, one for the big background brushes, one for the middlesize and one for the lips and eyes. ArtRage really rocks, and the more I work with it the more I achieve what I planned to.

I always think that mankind is to make a mystical wedding between “back to the roots” and “long live technology and technical progress”
Because the advantage of technologies will only be a benefit for the world, if we use it well reflected in the sense of Gaia’s needs.
And to see what the needs of mother earth are, we have to reconnect to our roots and our ancestors.
To make a long story short: Technical progess is wonderful and important as long as we do not forget about the connectedness of everything and act like spiritual beings.
