Hello! I am Ainslie Gilles from Sydney, Australia. I have been creating my artistry for almost 15 years now, with the Arabian Horse as my inspiration and passion.
I have always been creative but it wasn’t until my introduction to the Arabian horse that my art ignited (it has been burning brightly ever since) and my dedication to not only my art but to the Arabian horse was born. I knew then, as I do now, my life’s path is as an artist.
I believe from my artistic eye, my photography evolved. I feel sheer excitement and at one when my camera is in my hands and I have incredible horses dancing infront of me! I have now combined my love for photography and writing with my photo-journalism, which has started very well with four articles published in an International Arabian horse magazine, along with my art seen in it’s pages; in art shows and art auctions within Australia and overseas and now with my first International commission from the USA.
My artistry is very personal; a deep connection that only I can describe as spiritual, (as I am as a person) but I truly believe I leave my soul in the artwork everytime I create…
