Purely an accident, this presented itself during a photo shoot recently. I never planned on adding it, but looking back over images on my computer, I suddenly felt there could be a story here. Of course we’ve all heard of (at least I think it’s a common idea) the white light that supposedly appears shortly before death overtakes the body. Who could ever really prove this phenomenon, but it apparently happens enough to be a possibility. And so, the body is drawn to the perfect white light in crossing over. But what about heaven on Earth? That person or place that you long to run to when life is out of sorts, if even temporarily. The light they emit warms your soul and can bring you back to a revived, vibrant life. I believe there are little pockets of heaven on Earth and I am thankful for every one of them.

Natural light, no crop, no edit.

The world is full of magical photo ops…

All you need to grab them is a zest for life, an eye for the extraordinary and that trusty camera of your choice.

Raise the sturdy weight of it to your face … close one eye then … lower your finger upon the shiny black button… hold your breath then… hear that hypnotic click and suddenly, dynamite explodes! the stars collide! and maybe, just maybe you’ve captured a magnificent moment in time… How thrilling is that?!?
