Forget Catwoman, She's Camerawoman! by Ainsley Kellar Creations

Captured at last night’s Cincinnati Reds game.

No flash, no crop, no edit.

Shot with my vintage Pentax K1000 camera on black and white film.

The world is full of magical photo ops…

All you need to grab them is a zest for life, an eye for the extraordinary and that trusty camera of your choice.

Raise the sturdy weight of it to your face … close one eye then … lower your finger upon the shiny black button… hold your breath then… hear that hypnotic click and suddenly, dynamite explodes! the stars collide! and maybe, just maybe you’ve captured a magnificent moment in time… How thrilling is that?!?

K1000 Vintage? Hmmmmm, my Pentax Spotmatic F must be a fossil then Ainsley… She Stll takes a great pic though… Speaking of great pics, this really appeals to me- heaps of detail and a really dense crowd, plenty to look at..

  • OK, so maybe not vintage, but I bought it 20 years ago from a pawn shop in NYC. At that time it was already pretty well worn and rough around the edges! Thanks for your super comment!!!

Great shot……… really nicely done! Love the crowd as the backdrop, WOW….. how’d you get so close??? Must be press or VIP! LOVE it….a little jealous ;-p

  • Awwwww, thanks so very much for your wonderful comment! Ava and I lucked out and were able to use my parent’s Diamond seats given to them by a friend, so we were right up front. Simply the most exciting way to see our home team beat their rivals. These seats are not available often, so we jump at the chance when it pops up! :)
