Captured down a side street in the heart of Venice.
Natural light, no crop, no edit other than conversion to b/w.
Not long ago, Venice was chock full of plump pigeons that enjoyed an endless buffet from tourists buying bags of seed and scattering it all over San Marco Square. Today, they have removed the feed stands and replaced them with signs everywhere banning the feeding of these most expressive characters. I realize a lot of people hate pigeons, claiming they are dirty and a nuisance. I, personally, have a soft spot for all creatures. Especially those that get a bad rap.
