Captured the rotunda ceiling at the Children’s Museum Center today. I just love the vibrant colors and design. So much history here as it used to be a train station, Union Terminal. Art Deco decadence all the way!

After I uploaded this it struck me that it resembled a weary giant’s eye with it’s lid at half mast, seemingly ready to curl up for a good night’s rest.

Natural light, no crop, no edit.

The world is full of magical photo ops…

All you need to grab them is a zest for life, an eye for the extraordinary and that trusty camera of your choice.

Raise the sturdy weight of it to your face … close one eye then … lower your finger upon the shiny black button… hold your breath then… hear that hypnotic click and suddenly, dynamite explodes! the stars collide! and maybe, just maybe you’ve captured a magnificent moment in time… How thrilling is that?!?

Wonderful! I love this place, as I have been here before. When I noticed where you are from, I had to dig deeper into your pictures. I just knew that I would find one that I would recognize! Good job. This is a very beautiful building. I can’t wait to return.

  • Wow! Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my portfolio! Truly appreciated! I’ve always loved Union Terminal, myself. I think they did a great job converting it to the Museum Center. Thanks so much for your lovely comment!
