Captured my Ava in natural and lamp light, using the TTV technique, Through The Viewfinder. I bought an antique Kodak Duaflex camera today in order to use it in conjunction with my Nikon D90 camera with 105 macro lens. TTV allows you to get “old school” photos with the natural dust and scratches found on the vintage camera’s convex lens that sits atop this incredibly groovy camera. The lens also allows for soft “halo” movement around the subjects pictured. No post editing.
*Sweet Dreams (A Lullabye)
At the end of every day
When it’s time to finish play
And after dinner’s done
The night inhales the sun
Into bed all children go
But there’s something you need to know…
I’ll be here when you rise
With hugs and kisses when you open your eyes
For each day will start anew
You’ll grow and learn and have adventures, too.
So now it’s time for bed
Curl up in covers and rest your head
And as you drift to sleep, my dear
Sweet dreams, like hugs, will hold you near.
