Portrait taken by me with my iphone not too long ago
My Wish
As night falls near
I see some stars
Above my sleepy head,
I make a wish
And close my eyes
As I get set for bed.
I plead upon the brightest star that shines
In darkened sky…
Protect my darling Ava
Help guide her as time flies.
She is a slice of heaven here
Surely you must see
As long as she is well and strong
That’s all that matters to me.
Every day I wake and promise
I’ll do all I can do,
To love her like the gift she is
For she’s my dream come true.
The world is full of magical photo ops…
All you need to grab them is a zest for life, an eye for the extraordinary and that trusty camera of your choice.
Raise the sturdy weight of it to your face … close one eye then … lower your finger upon the shiny black button… hold your breath then… hear that hypnotic click and suddenly, dynamite explodes! the stars collide! and maybe, just maybe you’ve captured a magnificent moment in time… How thrilling is that?!?

wow, this looks like a fabulous French oil painting, could easy grace the cover of a fine classic book !!!!!Simply Gorgeous !!!!!
Thank you! You are too kind! Can you believe I took it by stretching my arm out with my iphone in a dimly lit restaurant downtown, no flash? That’s what caused the grainy texture, but I loved the happy accident! So glad I had at least some form of camera on hand! :)

Ainsley in class on Thursday my photography instructor mention to me that I had a fabulous photo of one of my cats, but he thought it was a bit grainy, I replied, last week I told you I find grainy is called for at times this photo you find fabulous would not be this fabulous with out it….I know what I like !!!!!!
I’m with you! Nothing against formal instruction in anything but as we discussed, art’s value and interpretation is in the eye of the beholder. What one person thinks is “incorrect”, another will find fabulous, edgy, adding texture, etc. I would stick with my gut and go with what your heart reveals as truth.

Actually I really like the grain in this shot. It makes it more mysterious to me. What a wonderful bond you and Ava have, this is so delightful. You must have to be the most loving mum on this earth. Bless you both and keep you safe. XXX
