The world is full of magical photo ops…

All you need to grab them is a zest for life, an eye for the extraordinary and that trusty camera of your choice.

Raise the sturdy weight of it to your face … close one eye then … lower your finger upon the shiny black button… hold your breath then… hear that hypnotic click and suddenly, dynamite explodes! the stars collide! and maybe, just maybe you’ve captured a magnificent moment in time… How thrilling is that?!?

Beautiful sentiments. No matter what form they take, our pets truly do steal a piece of our hearts.

  • Thank you again!

I enjoyed reading about Sea Horse and his treasure chest full of gems :-)

    RIP Sea Horse.

  • Again, I want to say thanks for your lovely comment. Every time I look into that now empty tank and see his treasure chest, I can’t help but have a double-edged emotional response. First a smile, in that his love of it always made me grin, then quickly followed by a noticeable stab of loss, centered directly on my heart.

You are true nature lover and your intricately detailed tribute to Sea Horse clearly shows that life doesn’t pass you by easily. It was very refreshing to read. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Thank you so much for reading my Sea Horse entry. I’m really glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I love nature and all the creatures that inhabit it. The only down side to harboring so much love is when those same magical creatures must pass on to another place, leaving a big sad hole in my heart. Writing about it helps. Thanks again for your loving words.

I love this story. RIP Seahorse.

  • Thanks so much for reading the story that explains my Sea Horse image. I wanted to pay tribute to a family member that brought us such joy and possessed an amazing character. I still miss him, but with his passing has come a new member of our clan, an Octopus who is so bright and loves to cheerfully interact with us as well. Life must go on, I am just so grateful that we had our time together, Sea Horse and Ava and me. The memories will be with us for a lifetime.

Beautifully written sentiments, and the picture appropriately goes along with it, it makes me miss my reef tank, and Happy Belated Birthday.

  • Hi there,
Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Maybe you should consider rediscovering your love for sea creatures with a new tank? :)
I had a fantastic birthday. I really appreciate your warm birthday wishes.
    Take care,
    A
