Moored Mussles by Aileen David
Taken early this year; we were on our way to the Twelve Appostles – a popular tourist spot in Victoria, Ausralia – but had to stop for a bit. It was a long drive and it didn’t agree with me. So pit stop at a stretch of beach and rockpools where we found these tiny, tiny mussles huddled on the sides of the rocks.
Since I havn’t got any eggs orbunnies to share this Easter, I though this’ll do. So, Happy Easter everybody!

An amazing find and great capture, Aileen. Lovely contrasts between the mussels and the barnacles. I used to love poking around the rock pools when I was a kid back in Scotland. All kinds of treasures to be found!
