A.H. Thom

Amie Howard Thom is a local Maine Artist who possesses a Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration from Ringling School of Art and Design and an Associate Degree in Multimedia from the University of Advancing Technology (U.A.T). In high school she was selected as a Scenic Intern for Maine State Music Theater located in her hometown of Brunswick, Maine. While in college Amie was a part-time LAN Administrator for the Creative Department at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine. After a move to Phoenix, Arizona Amie took a position as a Scenic Artist for Sunbelt Scenic Art Studios. Soon after completing her second degree, she accepted a position as a Senior Instructor in Multimedia at U.A.T.. Amie has extensive applied knowledge and experience with the latest technologies. She has designed and directed numerous graphic, web and illustrative projects. Proficient with many different types of software and design tools, Amie draws on a foundation of traditional mediums and fine arts. Now a proud mother of two, Amie has returned to Brunswick to raise her family and live her love of art.
