I started by taking shots of Iris to catalog the different colors. My partner and I have a small neighborhood nursery called “Grandma’s Gardens”, and needless to say my camera and I set off on a journey around the entire garden. Most of my shots will come from the front and back yards. Many of the flowers/plants are self-explanatory, but I usually try to give some data, because I’m still learning too! Anyway, to me, my flowers, like life, are reminders that nothing lasts forever, take time to admire all the wonder and do, DO STOP to smell all the roses!
