Just about everyone is familair with the Airbus A380, with one landing or taking off every 7 minutes somewhere in the world.

OE-VFT is a Diamond DA-42 Twinstar. Here at Farnborough in 2010, one engine was powered by Diesel and the other by an algae derived Bio Fuel. At the time it was believed to be the first flight display of a Bio Fuel / Diesel powered aircraft.

My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.
Feel free to comment on any of the pictures. I’m all for learning how to improve.

wow!! slight difference in size!! hahahaaa still dying to ride one soon (either aircraft!)

  • Lufthansa do fly the A380 out of SFO. Save those dollars and go via Munich on your next trip to Spain. Air France, whose A380 I flew to DC on were rumoured to be starting an A380 service to SFO, so you might also be able to go via Paris.
