How on earth did you capture this image if you were not at about the same height were you on a roof .. did you use a zoom lens?? Awesome capture
I used the zoom my Sony DSC HX1. I was on the ground in the FDR memorial in DC and I heard the Huey. I had no idea where it was, I could just hear it. Then I saw it through the trees and as my camera was already switched on I followed it to the clearing in the trees where I was. A huge amount of luck was involved. If it hadn’t been on that flight path, I would not have got it. and because it had just left Anacostia Park, he was still flying very low. One of my favourite pics from DC
