The memorial honours the men and women of the United States Air Force and its predecessor organizations.
Situated in Arlington, Virginia and overlooking The Pentagon.
The tallest of the three stainless steel spires is 270 feet. The three spires are said to evoke the image of the precision “bomb burst” maneuver performed by the USAF Thunderbirds flight demonstration team.
Sony DSC-HX1
My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.
