The other bridge in San Francisco, the Bay Bridge comprises two bridges that meet at Yerba Buena Island (Seen on the left in this picture).
This is the twin span on the west side that runs in to San Francisco. It’s a double deck bridge. 5 lanes east bound on the lower deck and 5 lanes west bound on the upper.
The eastern span is currently undergoing replacement which is due for completion in 2013
Sony DSC-HX1
My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.
Feel free to comment on any of the pictures. I’m all for learning how to improve.

ooooh, if YOU could see the clouds today!! fanTasTic!! great memories you have of the Bay Area! they will be getting rid of the older bridge in 2013, plus the America’s Cup racing in the bay waters in September 2013 – you coming back for that? great image!!
I will go back to SF sometime. I’d like to see the new Bay Bridge when it’s completed. Whether it’s 2013 or not, I don’t know, yet
