So far most of the daffodils have been pelted by rain and hail or suffered through frosts one day and warm spring temperature the next fluctuations. Have been very few that have not suffered as a result. Here’s an undamaged one though having survived a night of heavy rain. You wouldn’t think it, looking at the colour of the sky. There’s hope for the budding neighbour as a relatively calm week is forecast.

My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.
Feel free to comment on any of the pictures. I’m all for learning how to improve.

Lovely, but where? Please edit and tell us where it was taken. thanks Hilaryxxx

  • Hello, Hilary … I have included the whereabouts in my description. RB have changed their layouts so you now have to actually click on description to read the full description and on comments to view comments made. Previously you saw comments and description together on one screen. Not anymore. Not sure I like it, but as with everything else RB does, no consultation with the user.
