This was taken earlier this year. Whilst the ground might seem quite hard with frost, you can see just how wet it was below the surface. Free meal for the gulls. What is it with them and a plough? It’s as though they can smell them, as they appear seemingly from nowhere.

My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.

i think it’s wildlife being too familiar with human habits. they probably have learned when after a good plow, worms are exposed and there’s a free meal if you’re hungry…
