Lleyn (Pronounced clean, I believe) originating from the Lleyn peninsula in Wales
These are living across the border in Lancashire NW England and unaware of the oncoming storm

Sony DSC HX-1

Challenge Winner

My pictures are taken with a Sony DSC-HX1. What you see is pretty much what comes from the memory card, with maybe a touch of rotation and or cropping.
I probably wouldn’t be taking so many pictures if it weren’t for the camera. It has been worth every penny as it has captured some great memories since I got it in 2009.
Feel free to comment on any of the pictures. I’m all for learning how to improve.

    What a sweet capture . . . gotta love sheep!! :-)

  • These three were quite curious but still had their wits about them. The rest of the flock weren’t in the least bit interested in standing still, face front.

Great shot, they look very curious!

  • Thanks. They were curious, coming up quite close, but not so close they couldn’t get away if need be

Lovely, and a sight for sore eyes. These type sheep are so beautiful to me. Wonderful capture, knobbly knees and all. :)

  • These are pedigrees and are supposed to be relatively easy to look after and have trouble free lambing. Waiting for beginning of April, when the first lambs from these are due

Great capture and they have such cool faces! Smile maker!

  • I would have liked to have got closer, but they only let you get so far and if you get in to their space, they move back a little. So at the moment a good close up shot of their heads hasn’t been possible for me and my camera

    Beautiful sheep -

  • Thank you. Should be lambing around beginning of April, so there may be some youngsters appearing here soon after
