Artist's Description

Based on the song ‘The Three Ravens’ (which is an old English folk song from waaay back when) and adapted as a comic. White space left for text placement.

‘Down in yonder green field,
Down a down, hey down, hey down
There lies a knight slain under his shield,
With a down.
His hounds they lie down at his feet
So well they do their master keep.
With a down, derry, derry, derry down, down.’

I took some artistic license. I know it says ‘green field’ but for some reason whenever I hear this song it makes me think of winter. Must be the whole death and raven thing. So, winter it is.
