Artist's Description

This bridge is close to the site of the original, ill-fated, Tay Rail Bridge that William Topaz McGonagall wrote about in his infamous poem.

The image comprises three photos merged using HDR techniques, however they were taken from slightly different positions so a few ‘artifacts’ have crept in (such as ghosts of seagulls and bridge piers). Despite the problems I like the effect, so I’ll just use my artistic licence (courtesy of Gray’s in Aberdeen).
