The first day of August found me, along with fellow bubblers, Alan E Taylor and his better half Elizabeth at the 2010 Cromford Steam Rally in Derbyshire. Once again I was lucky and blessed with a lovely day as well as an excellent turnout.
It was great to see so many traction engines of all types represented, amongst them was this example, FE 3217 is a 4nhp William Foster & Co. Showman’s engine of 1920. The engine carries the name “Robin Hood”.

Looks like a wonderful place to spend the day! Like the details & colors in this.
It is a great rally and well worth a visit, though that bit of water between us might prove a bit troublesome

Great shot.
