There’s something beautiful about a framed image hanging serenely on a wall. We’re extremely proud of our sustainably sourced frames and believe there’s really no better way to enhance a stunning photograph. We’re pleased as punch to say they’ve adorned galleries and homes from London to Los Angeles.
Art comes in many shapes and sizes, and our framed prints are built to fit each of them. The final dimensions will depend on the image you choose, but to give you an idea here are the most common photographic sizes:
Giraffe. The latest in a string of Christmas sketches in 2008. This one is for my aunt who, obviously, collects giraffes. Drawn on 50# paper with mechanical pencil (2H lead).
This was featured on the Red Bubble home page.
2h, 50, christmas, giraffe, graphite, lead, neck, paper, pencil, present, shading, spots
I’m terrible at writing 500-character short bios, so just take my word for it: I’m cool.
magic work, cheers
Wow, thank you so much!
Thank you! I appreciate the accolade.
this is really good
I really appreciate that. Thank you.
really cool, i love giraffesquick question! how do you get you’re drawings on here, i’ve tried scanning my drawings and they just dont look as good, any tips?!
Levels are the key. I scanned right into Photoshop CS2 and leveled the values until it matched the original I had in my hand (assuming my monitor’s gamma levels were correct, which they must have been). Auto levels can do a good job in a pinch (ctrl + shift + L), but just levels works even better (ctrl + L), and creating a levels layer in your layers palette works the best because you can go back and edit them later. So basically, with the clearest, most true original scan possible (which was kind of green due to the glass on the scanner), it was post-production that made my picture work.
Thanks so much!
awww!!! So lifelike, I feel like a could reach out and scratch him on the nose!
