I’m really trying to get my head around RedBubble… I have so many sites, in search, of course, for the “one.” By that I mean, “the one site that has it/does it all,” in terms of the things I want/need it to do in regards to so many things – like resources and functionality that I have control of, security of my work, fair pricing on prints so that I can make a slight profit on what I may sell without it costing the buyer an arm and a leg… I guess maybe that is a lot to ask for…and, the reason I have so many sites is that each one has some part of that… I have yet, however, to find the “one” that does it all…for what I consider to be a fair price (not necessarily a monetary price, mind you). chuckle
That said, I’m going to try to be a bit more active here and narrow down my site usage to a limit of just a couple or three sites. I simply do not have the time to manage (or keep up with friends/comments at) more than that. Wherever I end up for the next “phase” of my hobby (because I just do not have time to build my own site from scratch, or the money to host it), I want to be able to be fairly constant in keeping up with it, the people and critique I get, and make the most of where I stay…
It’s really confusing – all of this – when you get really serious about trying to get your work out there. I’m not really new at this…just, never been so serious as I am now about making a go at my photography and turning a hobby into something more… We shall see…

I know exactly what you means Christy, I’ve been searching for more and more sites to show my work, sites that encompass everything I want – just like you’ve said. The unfortunate thing is they all usually display a few good attributes, but not everything. And it IS extremely difficult to keep up with it. I want to participate in communities like RB and DA but I also want to be able to set my work up somewhere and forget about it, just be able to use it as a resource for printing – but I’m finding it very difficult.
Can I ask, what sites have you been looking at?
I’ve recently signed up to ImageKing and Zazzle too, but haven’t got the time or inclination to spend forever setting them up.
