There is a picture of a male nyala in my portfolio
There is a wonderful Zulu story about these animals
If you look at the photo you will see 2 white marks on the nyala’s jaw
and 2 white marks on its nose
The story goes that when GOD created the male nyala
He was so happy that he had made such a wonderful buck
that he help the nyala’s head in his hands and kisses its nose
that is how the nyala got its white marks on its face

Only males have this markings the females don’t have the kiss of GOD
on there noses
