Moonrise, North Narrabeen Ocean Baths.
I made an interesting observation last week while chasing a lightning shot- the horrible high pressure sodium lamps that usually illuminte North Narrabeen pool with a ghastly green light where out of action. Hmmmm, full moon rising is only days away, might be an opportunity to return for a shoot. Beautiful calm evening preceeded by a stunning sunset over Narrabeen Beach. Pretty much had the place to myself with the exception of fellow Bubbler Ms Sharon Kavanagh and a handful of fisherman on the surrounding rocks. Sharon is fantastic company to shoot with, the instant I mount my a camera on the tripod she magically dissapears, dont even know she is there (I try and stay out of her frame also). While imossible to replicate the feeling of being there (for me anyway) I have tried my best to capture the mood in a single frame. Its all good fun!
