Sound Mind, Unsound Body...

I hate when my body
Wanders without my mind…
My Body~
I’m a figure without meaning,
Without purpose, breathing undeserved air
Floating helplessly in the world,
I belong here nor there,
I fear I won’t be accepted anywhere.
My Mind~
Hates the lumbering
Lump of skin that is her vessel.
She wants to break free, spread her wings.
A light caught by the dumbed down giant that
Is her body, attracted to the shine of the words she spits,
It simply can’t keep up.
She is a scholar of sorts, philosopher…
She want’s the void of eternity to be hers…
Forever isn’t long enough for her and her words…

About ThePhantomAmelia .

I am faded and floating by, just a glimmer gone out, not bright enough to catch your eye…
I am a phantom to myself, my imagination keeps me off the ground, and the wind will never let me go..
So hold your hands out, let them sink into the pull, and come evaporate with me as you explore creativity…

you have some deep thoughts, maybe the need to feel like you belong somewhere as well?

  • You picked up on it, glad you could see that. Thanks for the comment :)
