While leaving a project shoot in the Yarra Valley, I was walking back to my car, mentally having completed my task for the day, when I came upon this scene. It was sitting there, quietly begging to be photographed, and I was happy to oblige.
The image is a stitched panorama, 6-shots wide by 1 shot high (in portrait orientation). Each image was bracketed +/- 1.5EV, then aligned in EV layers using Autopano Pro. The layered pano was then given HDR treatment using Photomatix Pro, using the exposure fusion process. Finally, some contrast and saturation adjustments in CS5, slight vignette, and a a very light final sharpen.
Beautiful mood and light, works well with great stitching!
I can’t claim anything of the stitching. That’s all down to the very brilliant Autopano Pro, of which I’m a huge fan. I was freezing my a..e off at this point, having been blundering around in a cold fog for a couple of hours. :-)
Thanks Joe. This is quickly becoming one of my favourites, and the project sponsor is waxing lyrical about it (literally), which is all you can ask for I guess. Cheers, BigAl

Love the color and the fog is very efective here.
