Stolen RedBubble Pictures
It just came to my attention that there is a website that is stealing pictures from redbubble and giving them to people. I recieved this bubblemail a few minutes ago from Cathleen Tarawhiti:

Stolen! Our work by Papree Picture ‘Collecting’
What the hell?? Julie Langford has just directed me to this site which is taking our work (they even have a category ‘Photo’s from Redbubble’) and offering it for download. Go here to see if they have stolen your images too. What can we do about this right now, other than just talking about it?

This is the response that was recieved by Cathleen and some others from the people at the website
Dear. Red Bubble Members.
First of all, we would like to apologize for all the discomforts we’ve created.
We’ve received your mail requesting that all the RedBubble originating images be removed.
We will definitely remove the images within 24 hours.
Unfortunately, due to our circumstances, we can’t remove it right away but we promise that it will be removed within 24 hours.
Just to give you a little more info about us, we are a photo bookmarking site.
We provide bookmarklet for people to bookmark all their favorite photos on the web and in turn, try to give the specific photos & its authors more exposure.
However, if any of the pictures that our members bookmarked are deemed infringing copyrights, we have a policy to remove them ASAP upon requests from the copyright holders.
Once again, sorry for all the uneasiness we’ve created.

they still have redbubble photo’s there, i just checked, im sure the artists would not appreciate this since the images show no copywrite info on them whatsoever

just another bright idea for someone to profit from artists without creating art themselves, sometimes the only way is to watermark every image regardless of right click disable security.
