Berrima is an historic village in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, in Wingecarribee Shire. The village, once a major town, is located on the Old Hume Highway between Canberra and Sydney. It was previously known officially as the Town of Berrima. It is close to the three major towns of the Southern Highlands; Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale.
St Francis Xavier Catholic Church was built 1849-51 and designed by Augustus Pugin, a notable British architect of Gothic-revival buildings.
The Berrima house of worship, typical of an early English Gothic-style village church, is one of the few intact and essentially unaltered Pugin-designed buildings still standing in Australia.

Great capture and historical information Adrian ! It’s often difficult to get a clear shot of older country Churches due to the growth of surrounding trees.
That’s why I carry a chain saw with me wherever I go, LOL, Thanks Trish
