St. John’s Norway Cemetary (& Anglican Church) is located on the corner of Kingston Rd. & Woodbine Ave. on the edges of The Beaches neighbourhood in the east end of the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Taken in late March of 2007.
Taken with an EZonics 3MP auto-focus point-&-shoot digital camera. A slight oil paint effect was added for volumizing & then converted to Black & White.
Oh this is so very beautiful! The dark clouds , snow, missing colours and the shadow of the tree and then finding out that it is a cemetery. I like the contrast between the light and the dark, the deeper I look, the darker it gets…..
Wow! Thank you so much for your appreciative comments, Heide. It’s definitely one of the pieces of mine that I am most proud of. I know how you feel about gazing at it. Peace, Edward
