Taken in rural Prince Edward Island, Canada, as my father was succumbing to cancer. This series reflects my abiding wonder with winter even as it blankets life (and death). What is beneath is merely waiting for resurrection.

The evergreen featured here is also featured in Mourning in Winter #1 (Fallen Tree).

    what a lovely find!!!

  • Thank you, Lois. Altho PEI looks alot like this over the entire island, this particular scene was visible all the time outside my Dad’s bedroom window. Very peaceful. Edward
