I was referring to her shirt with regards to the title.
it’s what caught my eye apart from her lipstick, and
the fact that she kind of looks like Madonna.

    Very nice hipshot Adrian :)))

  • thanks Farfarm. and no, no hipshot for this guy hehe, very intentional, started snapping from when she was about 10 meters away, and took this tighter shot as she got closer.. surprised nobody cared. i was there for a good one hour. I was crouched down on the ground, waiting for selected victims to come walking by. thanks though!! haha glad you liked it.

Excellent capture – I thought she was one of your models and it was a set up shot till I read your answer to Farfarm. Wow! I’m also surprised nobody cared.
I was taking a shot of a fountain recently and some passerby went on about me invading their privacy – although I definitely did not want her in that shot:-(

Perhaps the trick is really to look like someone who should be there and has a purpose like an official photographer or whatever helps.
Keep up the great work however you do it! Kasia

  • Thanks so much Kasia. where was the fountain located? i did get asked once, and it was when this one guy was right infront of me, though i was facing away, but he asked nicely, and i just said no. the secret to all this is, people would think (though not all the time), that you’re taking photos of something or someone behind them when you’re that close, either that or try not to make eye contact with them after.
and even if they do, just be upfront about it, and be polite. i’ve had some rough encounters in the past though, and the best thing to do is to diffuse it in the easiest way possible, and turn off AF assist on your camera so the light doesn’t go on whenever you try and take a photo.

I don’t know about the appearance hahaha. i was wearing a baseball cap, a sweater and shorts. and the location is near the transit stop, so everyone’s always rushing to wherever it is they have to go. and i guess the sunset was bright and low enough to not notice me. thanks again!
