this cat is always infront of the house, sitting in the couch placed on the balcony. this is my neighbour’s
by the way. i framed it around one of the diamond hole patterns of their wooden fence. the front gate was open, but i didn’t wanna be mistaken for breaking and entering ( oh wait, that’s what it is) just because i wanted to take the cat’s picture. so yeah. i’m hoping for another encounter. maybe i should have my zoom lens mounted everytime i walk by this house. all i had was my fixed 50mm that day :(

Hi Adrian: Great photo. Has an air of mystery about it! Love it. Cheers, Carol

  • thanks so much Carol! i really appreciate your input. this shot never really meant that much to me until last night in class after our instructor in school gave praise and indepth comments about it. it’s just not really how i wanted to capture the kitty there. i’m used to capturing and doing portraits upclose. the only thing that made me like this are the shadows and how it fills the frame, and how they provide contrast to the highlights. thanks again!!
