There is something very special and unique about this Adrian but I can’t put my finger on why but I love it! :))
some say, the lights and the shadow’s position and the way it affects the frame makes this picture. the first thing that drew me into taking the picture were the shapes and silhouettes on the ground. i adjusted the lens slightly upwards to get some lens flare on purpose. but other than that, it must be her isolation from the rest of the people because they’re sort of being covered by the lens flare coming from the sunlight. i dont really know hehehe. glad you like it though.

Very cool shot!….everything happening around the picture, and the angle of shot, serve to draw the eye to the central subject! very well executed!
you said it! that was a great day. the sun was just at the right place to give me a decent amount of lens flare, while being not too destructive. the shadows played out really well here too. thanks again Graham. i’m glad you liked this shot.

I really like this, it kind of has a vintage feel or maybe like old film has been used – love how you’ve capture her checking her camera :))
thanks again Trish. for this one, i got the inspiration from the old 1930’s era. it’s too bad her clothes and the people in the scene were wearing modern clothes hehehe. but yeah i had Alfred Stieglitz in mind when i found this photograph, and i composed it around the huge shadows and the lens flare on the background.
