Teer Wayde Basement Shoot
On Saturday, I had the pleasure of working with Teer Wayde
For the shoot, we took over the basement of the old Land Title’s Office in Queen St Melbourne.
Teer was sensational to work with. We went in with a couple of vague ideas, and thanks to her enthusiasm and patience, we adapted them around the rooms as we found them.
I’m very proud of the end results, with huge thanks going to Teer and Justin (the guy in the hoodie!). With the skeleton of an idea, I think we managed to create a great little story through the images. The idea of a horror shoot, without the blood ‘n guts was interesting, and trying to create drama without the usual tools of the trade was a great challenge

Now I can start think about what comes next! I’ve already got an idea bouncing around in my head for what comes next…. anyone know a good source of assorted, misshapen doll parts?

It’s an outstanding series!!!!!

Thanks Mel, I think they fun that we all had on the day comes though in the images. Having a model and a helper like Justin that jumped into the project made it all come together like a dream

Great series man.
Teer Wayde
ooooh doll parts, whats going on in that brain of yours :P
You rock, we rock! Hooray for us and baby Jesus!

I am trying to get in touch with a puppet maker at the moment. I would love, LOVE to do a shoot with 4 puppets tying a person up. I have friends of friends that make astonishing puppets, I’m trying to harness that skill for evil. For some reason, I have Chucky on the brain (probably a survival instinct that is blocking out baby Jesus images), and I’d like to do something a bit creepy with some faceless puppets
I’m also kicking around the idea of bath tub, a few buckets of blood and floating doll parts. Know anyone that would want to be involved in something that bizarre?
Teer Wayde
ME! ME! ME! ME! oh and you will make justin mess himself with the puppets!
Adrian Carmody replied
I’m all over this, gimme a week or two to sort out some details and I’ll be in touch

A wonderful series Adrian – you do consistantly great work and this just shows more of your depth of talent. The baby jesus would be proud.
Adrian Carmody replied
Thank you John… a weighty compliment, and I don’t take it lightly. Your support in getting me along to where I am is always appreciated.
