Looking for a Nikon 20-35mm 2.8

I’m heading to Yosemite, Vegas, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas early next year, but I don’t have a quality landscape lens to shoot big stuff with

If you have an old Nikon 20-35mm 2.8 sitting around that you are willing to part with, Bubblemail me, and we’ll start the brutal negotiations!

(disclaimer: negotiations may not actually include brutal haggling, although some tears may be shed)

I’ve got a Yashica you can borrow…if you put me in your suitcase…you could even use me as a tripod

    hmm an intriguing proposal!

Over dinner tonight, I’ll need you to display your tripod skills – I don’t think I’ve ever seen you stand still for more than 4 seconds. You’ll need to be able to not move, squirm, giggle, sneeze, yawn, cough, jump, hop, skip, leap, roll, dive, scratch, itch, talk, walk or blink for 30-45 seconds at a time.

I’ll bring a stop watch, and we’ll do some testing with the Beatles blaring in the background. If you can fight the urge to let the snake dance take hold while “Come Together” is on, you might have yourself a special pocket in our suitcase

You can even try and get the 17-35mm lenses. Really solid and well built optics. Can also fit filters @ 77mm if required.

I’ve got my eye on that, if I can snap up a secondhand 20-35mm

Camera Exchange sold a 20-35mm for $800 the day before I asked them about it. They are trying to source another one before my trip. If I can grab one for a steal, it means I’ll have a bit more cash to blow in Vegas
