There are so many amateur photography courses around, that it’s hard to find the right one. They all give you the same basic tools that you can read up on in any magazine or book… but what then? How do you draw from your life, to express your ideas through your art?

It’s run by the incomparable Jessica Tremp (professional disclosure… one of my dearest friends on god’s green earf) in collaboration with other Bubble Partners. It’s a wonderful idea that brings Bubblers together in a common space, to teach, inspire and learn.

We all struggle with finding ways to express our ideas, which is why this course sounds so cool. Jess is a bottomless well of inspiration, and learning the ways she uses any chosen medium to explore those ideas is gold

It’s affordable, intimate and I can’t imagine a better person to learn from… I’ve watched her in awe for over a year now, and it’s even rubbing off on me.

The “My Shirt” shoot is very much inspired by the way Jess shoots, and how she tells her story.

I don’t think I can compare it to anything she has done, but I can tip my hat to her, for pushing me to explore art my way :)
