...and that was only Saturday!
Jo O’Brien turned over her house on Saturday, and allowed a few of us to invade her studio
Last things first… the day ended up with a few rock poses and laughs. Seana and I took the chance to show off her new hair do, with an 80s rock shoot. It ended up being a little more moody than I first imagined, but then I was always more into 80s punk than 80s hair bands.
I’m thrilled with the results, and can’t wait for Seana to see them (get well soon :) )
The day started with Skye, an unbelievable artist, who does some balancing tricks that blew me away. Getting all of him, his table, his balancing bar, his 5 rolling tubes and bowling ball into shots was a challenge, but we had some great results. I’ll have them ready to photo spam tomorrow
In honour of her new Fringe Festival act, most of the afternoon was spent with Malia and her friends. I don’t want to give away tooo much about the shots until they are ready, but for fans of feet and socks… stay tuned. I’ll try and have some evidence of the mayhem ready by Thursday, so I don’t end up cutting into this weekends fun with last weekends editing

I love, love, love the Skye ones. We worked well together, and he did some very, very cool stuff.
Malia and the boys are such great faces to shoot, it was hard to pay attention to the camera. I have 100 shots where at least one of them broke character and laughed at the silliness of one of the others. The socks photos look very, very awesome :)
