This was a tricky one. It was dusk, and I was shooting into the setting sun. Great for mood lighting, but really challenging for an acrobat performance. This shot has popped up all over the place… magazines, papers and websites
Even better… after shooting this, I’ve become great friends with young Malia, the lass at the top of the stack. I’m practically her official photographer now, and have had a blast every single time I’ve seen her in action.
One of the best things about getting out and taking photos, is the people you meet along the way… if I hadn’t taken these shots, I would have missed out on meeting someone pretty darn spectacular to shoot and have the odd beer ‘n dinner with
