Very nice work. A little different to your usual :)

  • Adrian Carmody replied

It’s a little different from what I’ve been doing :)

Getting into a studio with friends and seeing what turned out was a great learning experience. This was one of my last shots of the day, and turned out so much better than what I started with

wow, a bit on the dark side for you Adrian, great photo

  • Adrian Carmody replied

It’s much darker than anything I’ve done… but when you have someone that knows how to make great blood, and a friend who is willing to be covered in it… well you have to take full advantage :)

Oh I really like this.. so much innocence in her face!

  • Adrian Carmody replied

I know, that’s why it was so much fun to get her blooded up and duuurty. Credit goes to Miss Jo for making it all happen though. Without her brilliant efforts, and the toil of James, I would have been lost

  • Jessica Tremp

    Jessica Tremp

love how her shoulder goes out of focus…

  • Adrian Carmody replied

That’s my favorite bit too… the light was so beautiful, it made it easy to get a bit creative with the composition and focus without losing any detail :)

  • Adrian Carmody replied

    Thanks Kathryn!

I was at Jo’s house today, with Seana when we found out we had won. I’m very proud of Seana, as a first time model, being this fabulous. We did some more shooting today, and she has really started to make this modeling thing look easy :)

What a fantastic shot, excellent subject, model, lighting, set up and finish. Well done.

  • Adrian Carmody replied

Thanks Simon.. it was my first time in a studio, and Seana’s first time modeling. We fudged around a bit, with help for the mighty John Robb and Jo O’Brien, but in the end the results were brilliant… and the bloody was tasty!

Then you have done very well. I’m not game to put my first studio attempt up (it wasn’t as good as yours). I have just got a cheap set of lights recently and trying to get it right. Well done again.
